These Rules & Guidelines exist to help RutuMilan remain a safe, respectful, and genuine platform for individuals seeking a matrimonial match. All members are expected to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
1. Create Only Genuine Profiles
Register only for yourself, or for an immediate family member with their full knowledge and consent. Provide accurate and honest information about your age, marital status, education, occupation, family background, and photographs. Do not create duplicate or fake profiles.
2. Communicate Respectfully
Treat every member with courtesy and respect, whether or not you are interested in taking a conversation forward. Do not send abusive, offensive, discriminatory, or sexually explicit messages. Politely declining an interest or conversation is always acceptable; harassment is not.
3. Respect the Privacy of Other Members
Do not share another member's photographs, contact details, or personal information with anyone outside the Platform without their consent, and do not use information obtained through RutuMilan for any purpose other than your own matrimonial search.
4. Keep Content Appropriate
Photographs and profile details must be appropriate, recent, and genuinely represent you. Do not upload obscene, misleading, or copyrighted content, and do not include contact numbers, external links, or promotional/business content in your profile description.
5. Stay Safe When Meeting in Person
Take your time getting to know a match through the Platform before sharing sensitive personal or financial information. When you do decide to meet in person, choose a public place, inform a family member or friend of your plans, and independently verify important details shared by the other person. RutuMilan facilitates introductions but cannot verify every claim made by a member, so exercising your own judgment is essential.
6. Report and Block Suspicious Behavior
If another member behaves inappropriately, appears to be using a fake profile, or asks you for money or sensitive financial information, please use the report or block option on their profile or conversation, and notify our support team so we can take appropriate action.
7. One Genuine Account Per Person
Each individual seeking a match should maintain only one active profile. Creating multiple or duplicate profiles for the same person is not permitted and may lead to suspension of all related accounts.
8. Consequences of Violating These Guidelines
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, RutuMilan may issue a warning, temporarily suspend, or permanently terminate a member's account, and may remove any content that violates these guidelines, in order to protect the safety and trust of the community.
